The Mid Michigan Street Rod Association was established in 1971 by a group of street rod enthusiasts in the Lansing, Michigan area.
The club follows the National Street Rod Association guidelines for what constitutes a street rod, primarily it must be year 1948 or older and be modified from original. NSRA has softened their policy regarding 1948 and older to allow more participation at certain events.
Our members have a variety of street rods from customized original cars to state of the art kit cars and as you can see from the photo gallery all of the cars and trucks are drivers, no show cars here.
One great thing about the wide variety is sharing ideas across brands, years, engine/body combos and other technicalities involved in building and maintaining our vehicles.
We currently have members from St. Johns, Charlotte, Grand Ledge, Mulliken, Ashley, Bath, Laingsburg, Rives Junction, Gowen, Haslett, Dimondale, Olivet, Holt, Lansing and more.
Many club activities are held throughout the year which include fall color tours, garden tours, garage tours, campfires, picnics, card parties, and of course holiday parties.
Membership averages 75-80 with many husband/wife teams and even a few kids and grand-kids.
We are very family oriented and all club activities include all family members and guests.
Please feel free to contact any of our officers for further information. Select "Administration" from the menu for their phone numbers.
